Derby Quiz: How much do you know about the Epsom classic?

Derby Day is almost here! Test your knowledge of the famous race with our Epsom Derby quiz!

It’s the race that every jockey, trainer and owner wants to win. Saturday will see the 242nd annual running of the Derby at Epsom Downs Racecourse. Thankfully 4,000 lucky racegoers will be there to watch the action live after 2020’s behind-closed-doors running of the world’s most famous Flat race. 25-1 outsider Serpentine claimed a shock win that day to give trainer Aidan O’Brien a record eighth Derby success. He will of course be back for more this year with Bolshoi Ballet and High Definition likely to be among the leading contenders.

The Derby has a whopping prize pot worth more than £1,000,000, making it Britain’s most valuable race. And it has an equally rich history, spanning over 200 years way back to when it was first run in 1780. So to get you in the mood for Saturday, we thought we would test your knowledge with an Epsom Derby quiz! Have a go below and let us know how you get on by tweeting us at @BetConnect.
