After a 100-day shutdown caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, Premier League football is ready to return on Wednesday with the remaining 92 games to be played behind closed doors over the next six weeks.
Top-flight football resumes with Liverpool 25 points clear at the top of the table, on the brink of being crowned champions of England for the first time in 30 years. But while that may be almost done and dusted, there are plenty of other issues that still need to be resolved at both ends of the table.
In terms of relegation, just six points separate the bottom five teams while the battle for the European places is equally intriguing with the likes of Sheffield United and Wolves still very much in with a shout of claiming a Champions League spot.
How to watch the Premier League on TV
Although there will be no supporters allowed in stadiums for the foreseeable future, the good news is that all of the remaining matches will be shown live on TV with many of them available to watch for free.
64 of the remaining fixtures will be shown on Sky Sports with 25 of them being free-to-air, including a Merseyside Derby showdown between Everton and Liverpool this weekend. Sky are playing their free games on Pick which is channel 159 on Sky and 144 on Freeview.
20 games will air on BT Sport but these require a paid-for subscription. The BBC and Amazon meanwhile, have 4 games each, all of which will be free-to-air, even if you don’t have an Amazon Prime account.

Football Betting Markets Explained
As always BetConnect will have you covered with best bookie odds and no restrictions for all of the remaining matches. We’re sure you no the score but, seeing as it’s been a while, here’s a reminder of the markets we offer.
Match Result
The stonewall classic and the one your gran understands. A three-sided dice. Win, lose or draw. You get it.
Asian Handicap
We wrote a whole article about this so check it out now. The reason we did a whole article on Asian Handicaps is because they’re the only bet that requires a little more explanation.
Over/Under (goals)
Have you seen a match with two dreadful goalkeepers in it and some electric attacking maestros? Then you’ll be looking to back the “overs” at 2.5 goals if you think there will be three goals or more.
Both Teams To Score
Two dreadful goalkeepers but not so many Sergio Aguero clones? This could be a safe haven for you.
Draw No Bet
Get your money back if the team you think will win is held to a stalemate. A bit of a hedge play this – the odds you get for the win are reduced but you are less likely to end up losing.
Half-Time Result
A great bet for a team with a track record of being fast out of the blocks but prone to conceding late.
Home Team Clean Sheet/Away Team Clean Sheet
“Clean sheet” has nothing to do with bed linen here. If you feel your team has it in them to concede no goals in 90 minutes this is the bet for you.
First Goalscorer
Pick a named player to score first in the match. If your player doesn’t start you get your money back but most Pros will wait until they’ve seen the official team-sheets for these bets. Also available: “anytime” goal scorer.
