It’s that time of year again. The BetConnect trading team have given their Premier League predictions ahead of the 2020/21 season, including tips for the title, top four, relegation, and more.

Just over a month since the 2019/20 campaign concluded, it’s time to do it all again. The new Premier League season kicks off this weekend – and it promises to be a good one.

Liverpool are bidding to secure back-to-back titles after 30 years without one, although Manchester City will surely have other ideas. Chelsea have been busy in the transfer window and fans will no doubt expect them to build on their top four finish under Frank Lampard last term. Leeds, West Brom and Fulham meanwhile, were all promoted from the Championship, with the former back in the top flight for the first time in 16 years.

Fulham and Arsenal will get the new season underway with a lunchtime London derby at Craven Cottage on Saturday. So ahead of the new campaign, the BetConnect trading team have given their verdict on how the next nine months will play out. They’ve even picked out some big-price selections for you to consider.

With that in mind im looking to Richarlson who scored 13 last season. Sigurdson missed 3 of his 5 penalties last season and if Richarlison could get on those he would be a live runner.”

Another two or three matches at the end and Leicester could have missed out on Europe. They have also signed Premier League proven Willian from top four rivals Chelsea. Speaking of Chelsea, the reason I like the Arsenal price so much is because the 1/2 about Chelsea looks too short. Abramovich has certainly splashed the cash on some big players, but it won’t be easy for Lampard to get them all playing their best football in their first season in England.”

“20/1 is way too big for a player who is arguably the most important in Liverpool’s side. Mane has scored 40 goals over the past two seasons, and is bound to be right up there in the golden boot race again this year. He’s in the prime of his career, at the reigning Champions, and I think this will be his best season yet.”

Wolves @ 13/2
This largely depends whether they manage to keep hold of star striker Raul Jimenez with some of Europe biggest sharks circling, but I see him sticking around in the midlands for another season. Without the distraction of European football and with yet more young Portuguese talent on their books, it promises to be a fantastic season at Molineux.

First Manager To Leave Post – Jose Mourinho @ 33/1
“Last minute qualification for the Europa League at the end of last season papered over the cracks of what was a mediocre campaign. Results picked up slightly under Mourinho but the standard of football left a lot to be desired. An indifferent start to the new season along with Jose’s usual grumpy demeanour will see Daniel Levy itching to use his trigger finger by mid-November.”
